WebThe mines are not the same as the Skull Cavern in this regard. Once you complete Danger in the Deep, you can deactivate the shrine to permanently make the mines dangerous. This does not affect the Skull Cavern. Likewise, Skull Invasion will not make the mines dangerous either. To fix this, you need to activate the shrine at the bottom of the mines.
